Le Denier Poste, The Final Post

Hello bloggers!!! This will be our last post. :(

This blog was actually a project that we had to do for science. It is suppose to help us improve our "futuristic" skills since we don't quite no what jobs we will have in the future. This also taught us how to be more creative in everything we do! :3

The preparation was very simple. All we had to do was learn how to make a blog!! We also had to have creativity because it was hard to think of what we should write or type in our blog. We also had some tips from our science teacher, the UrbanGuru.

This was a really fun project! But, everything wasn't all fun. Many times, we weren't able to meet as a complete group. It was hard, but what we were able to solve that by dividing the work to are group mates  who weren't there with us. But, we were able to let everybody cooperate with this project.

If we were given a chance to do this once again, we would definitely do it again. Blogging is simple, but apparently a very fun activity. Doing simple things, like sharing your experiences and sharing photos with people can really bring a smile to our face :).
Blogging is truly an unforgettable experience.

Does this project need further improvement? Doing all these posts and sharing it was fun. The only thing we think needs to be changed is the deadlines. It would be easier to meet during weekends. All the rest was
. . .wait for it. . .AMAZING. :D

Will we change anything regarding the project? No, this project is AWESOME and UNFORGETTABLE! It really doesn't need any changes because it was such a fun experience doing this. Anyone who tries doing this will definitely have fun!

be yourself
The most important lesson we learned from this is that doing something as simple as a blog can really inspire people to help save the world. We don't need to be some weird hippie walking on the street saying "SAVE EARTH"! We can be ourselves and still make a difference.

GOOD BYE COOL BLOGGING WORLD :( !!!

W.W.T.P.D.? ( What Would The President Do?)

! ! ! IMAGINE ! ! !
! ! !We're back with our post 5.0! ! !
By the way we're presidents. . .Just kidding!!! But, just use your IMAGINATION. . .

What would we do if there was a power crisis and the opening of the BNPP was our only solution? Although, remember those cute turtles we talked about? Well, their nesting grounds are just a few minutes drive away and opening the BNPP will affect them! Also it is just an 8 minute drive from Malacañang Palace. You know. . . .If there will be an "accident". OH NO!!! What will we do? End the power crisis or save the turtles?
Think of it for a while. . . . .If we open the BNPP, then the electricity will be a lot cheaper and accessible , thus,  would be our solution to the power crisis!
But if the BNPP does open, the cute little turtles will have a chance of dying. So, we say don't open the BNPP for some time. . . . THE POOR TURTLES!
But, let's remember some of the advantages of opening the BNPP. . . The electricity is cheaper and there will be more than enough energy for many. The disadvantages are, like we said, it's very near the nesting grounds of the turtles. Opening this won't be very good for them. If an accident happens with the BNPP, not only the turtles will be affected, but people in that area as well.
It's hard to decide, but we've decided.
We say "SAVE THE TURTLES."

Nuclear Energy- For BETTER? or For WORSE?

Hey awesome bloggers!!! :P Greetings here from Stroganona and FreeSpirit :D! On behalf of our group, we will be talking about how nuclear energy can help the world and can also destroy it using the same posses. Now first and foremost, what is NUCLEAR ENERGY? Nuclear energy is created by the splitting of a nucleus in an atom. This is called nuclear fission. This process can provide heat and electricity for our houses.

Take a look at this video. It will summarize the
disadvantages of nuclear energy and how we can
  solve it.

Some of its advantages are that a nuclear power plant does not give of as much CO2 as coal or oil power plants give off. As mentioned, it can provide heat and electricity for our houses, thus, you can charge your gadgets, use your computer or laptop for school work, personal use and a lot more. It can also provide electricity for malls and other places for playing and leisure. Do you know how some of the materials around you were made? By electricity! But have you ever thought about its disadvantages? Are we in favor of using this? We give it a good "YES, YES WE ARE". Simply because it can provide for many people, it can give more than enough  cheap electricity and it's eco-friendly. What more can you ask for?!
Y U No - Y u no open bnpp?

We had an awesome field trip to the Philippines' very own nuclear power power plant known as the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant  (B.N.P.P.)!

Before getting there, we obviously were expecting to learn nuclear power's advantages and disadvantages and the history of the B.N.P.P. Then we got there and, yes, we did learn its advantages, disadvantages and history. We also learned about other nuclear power plants around the world and the nuclear accidents. It was a little scary climbing all those stairs, but it was a great tour!

Star Trek! (joke!) :P
The Control Room Of BNPP

Probably, the coolest part of the B.N.P.P is the control room, because it was quite hard to believe that those tiny buttons can run a really huge power plant. And only 3 or 2 people control those buttons and levers. One press on the wrong button and pull of the wrong lever, BOOM! Disaster. But aside from that it looks like a spaceship from Star Trek :D

That's all of us leaving the power plant. XD girl in the Beatles shirt!

Till the next post!
